Finally fell asleep in our bed last night and actually slept. New milestone. Did not wake up crying today.

    Maybe an over-exaggeration, but this brings to mind the scene from the 3rd Pirates of the Caribbean movie where they're going in to face Jones' fleet of ships and they triumphantly raise each of their flags to that epic Hans Zimmer soundtrack.

    Because if Hans Zimmer composed it, you KNOW it's ridiculously epic.

    Hoist the colors man. I'm happy for you <3

    The whole idea/imagery of Sheryl Netzky's words, "You. You. Warrior in me. Take rest."............ really resonated with me; so I thought you also might find it helpful, too, Tashi, during these painful days of grief. 'No doubt that Wash~~(ever-protective/solicitous of you)~~would also be pleased and relieved, too, i.e., that you actually slept Sunday night.

    I hope and simply pray for............ more nights in which you can quietly sleep, (free of any nightmares), you know.
