Spoilers, Sweetie

Kevin Pratt-King came home today; for the last time.

As per his wishes he will have a part of himself shot off in rockets(details to come); the rest he wished to travel in his custom made TARDIS urn.

Only Kevin "Wash" knows how much bigger it is on the inside, or how big the pool in the library is, but he is where he wanted, and hopefully starting amazing new adventures.

Thank you to everyone who has shared his story.
Thank you to everyone for your amazing show of support for his family.
Thank you to his fellow Browncoats for carrying him, and thank you to his Whovian brethren and fellow geeks (and CF4L) to help make sure his final wishes would be carried out.

His energy was only in this form for 28 short years, but his love touched the world.

I'm not sure what his next regeneration would look like (he'd hope for Ginger too) but I know he'd tell me, "Shh, Spoilers."

You are now a Leaf on the Wind Wash; we will watch how you soar.

  1. I've been reading for years, never dared to comment because... what do I know, what can I say? But I've been admiring your strength and love and praying for you both.
Your love touched the world and taught us so much.

  2. The smile on his face says it all. Happy travels to your sweet Wash and to you as well Tashi...you never know what grand adventures await you.

  3. The picture of Wash holding his tardis urn. It's comforting, to me, he looks so happy and I think this is how I'll remember him. And I will, remember him. What a great love story between you two. If I read it in a book I would think it... contrived. Or something. Truth can be stranger than fiction and I am so happy for Wash and for you that you got to have this great love before it was too late. I'm sorry that it came with such a heavy cost in pain and suffering, but in my opinion it was worth it. This love made you into who you are now. I've been thinking about you a lot, commenting- not so much, I feel like anything I could say would be trite and greeting-card-ish and I'm sure you've thought of it all and that your IRL friends would be the ones to say these things, I feel a bit intrusive. but I can't stop thinking about you. When I looked at the picture of Wash with Tardis I smiled, first, then an involuntary tear..Virtual hugs and hugs and hugs.

  4. Another person who has been reading for years but never commented because, well, what can one say when one cannot comprehend the pain and suffering. I just wanted to thank you for sharing your story with us and I hope you continue to do so in some form. I think everyone who has read your story wants to see how you do in the future.

Steve Sabol of NFL Films (really only famous if you're a football geek) died yesterday of brain cancer and the first people I though of were you and Wash and related your story to the friends I was with.

Thanks again to you and Wash for letting us come with you on this journey, it has touched me and I wish you the best, especially in your fight with the crappy Arizona insurance system.

May the Force be with you. (wrong geek series, I know but I'm only now getting into the Whoverse thanks to Wash)

  5. My thoughts are with you, Tashi, as they have been for many months, years, even. I'm glad you got the TARDIS urn that you wanted. I'm sure that Wash will find lots to do in the many rooms inside.

As others have said, I hope you keep us updated on how you are doing as you travel this difficult road - and let us be there to help you along the way.

  6. Glad he's made it home, one last time ::hugs::

  7. Thank you for sharing your story with all of us.
