This gal!
Wash was out for 10 hours. The new pills seem to be helping.
Busy day, we have a "day team" Hospice Evaluation today, hopefully it will show Wash and I both need more help.
A few friend visits scheduled, maybe even a Warhammer 40K game for Wash.
I'm hoping for a good day.
Oh Tashi,
ReplyDeleteThe Fates are odd indeed. I've been following your blog for a little while; in Nov 2011 my Dad was diagnosed Stage 4 cancer (lungs- metastasized to spine, liver, lymph nodes), 6 months to live without treatment, 18 months with...
At the beginning of the month, they discovered an ulcer in his esophagus. With cancerous cells. And then his esophagus ruptured somewhere the week of 14 May. The doctors told our family there to call everyone who needed to be there the morning of Thursday the 17th. Dad lost his battle to cancer (or the esophagus, I may never know) at the end of the solar eclipse (just like Dad to go out with a big bang!) on Sunday, May 20th.
I wish I could give you a big hug. Only now do I even "get" a glimpse of what you're going through. You're not walking this path alone, okay?
