Wash is officially 'off' active treatment.
No more chemo.
He still has cancer. He still is dying.
He is doing it on his own terms.
He will be monitored with MRIs, and blood draws still, but he is not seeking active therapy anymore.
He is responding well to some new meds, so they will be increased. His Quality of Life right now is the highest it's been since before the tumor.
We were told to go and "live".
I'm not even sure what that means.
More when I can process all that's happened today.
It's both good and sad news.
