I plan to do some more writing tomorrow, catch up from this week. I've been pretty 'busy' which for me has been good lately.
Spent about 6 hours tonight over at my local Chabad helping to lead some Challah baking for the Shabbos.
I love baking, and I love baking bread, so I find it comforting.
The time passed pretty nicely.
The pay off is quite tasty too.

Little smiles
Sharing something happy;
Wash and I are watching "Harry Potter 3" (I've never seen it) and went out for a walk earlier to the farmer's market across the street.
Later I'll be making artichokes with lemon butter, fresh corn on the cob, (fake) burgers and chicken breasts to go on my indoor grill, and a caprese salad with fresh tomatoes, basil, and soft mozzarella and a aged balsamic vinegar dressing. We also have cake-pops for dessert with red, white, and blue sprinkles.
I feel hopeful today will be a good day with some happy memories for me.

I'm spending as much time as I can today with Wash. MY Wash.
His personality is back and bold today, he seems to be better rested and in a better mood. He is joking, and mature, and able to really speak today.
I'm beyond happy. I've missed my husband so much.
I have no idea how long this will last; will he still be here after his nap? Tonight? When he wakes tomorrow?
So, I'm trying to just stay in the moment. He is happy watching "RuPaul's Drag Race" and "Pineapple Express" right now. He's laughing even a little.
We're also playing "Fetch" with Leto this am.
Brain cancer sucks ass. It has stolen so much.
I feel like in this moment today at least, I have the person who loves ME is back.
For a while, we just held hands.

Speak Friend and Enter
Wash said this about his gift from me on Saturday night;
"My wife's 'Leslie Knope' anniversary gift to me: A steakhouse dinner with friends and then an awesome adventure movie after. My inner Ron Swanson smiles."
I'm happy my husband is pleased. Yay!
I enjoyed highly my own little bridal/anniversary party.
Details and photos to come.
I think waking up today, feeling happy and loved, is something to celebrate.
